Donations & Fundraising

SAVES members give a great deal of their time and energy free of charge. In return SAVES provides a comprehensive set of emergency medical equipment and training.

To train and equip a new doctor costs around £4000. All medical equipment now has a relatively short shelf life and needs regular review and replacement. The ambulance service helps with replacement of some consumable items and those members who are on the list of Major Incident Medical Commanders also get a grant from the Health Service, which they invest in equipment and training. Specialist training and equipment is expensive and we are always grateful for donations large or small.
